Quick Sunday Letter

Take 2 minutes to reflect on life

Good Morning and Happy Sunday - we’re heading to Steamboat for the next week or two so we can finally do some snowboarding.

Todays letter is a quick coffee thought I had while watching the sunrise this morning.

I hope you find it as thought provoking as I did.

Outside of Boulder, CO

So many people are running around like chickens with their heads cut off, in a whirlwind of confusion, and not enjoying life.

Why so often does it take a serious sickness, trauma, or death to wake people up to the beauty life?

The gratefulness and enjoyment of life that arises in people who have been through a life changing difficulty is available to us now.

We don’t need to wait for life to “wake us up” with some traumatic event to open ours eyes to the beauty and wonder of our world.

We can (and should) work to cultivate that joy in our lives everyday.

A few ways I do that:

- start your day with a quick meditation

- go on daily walks

- begin a gratefulness practice

- work on something meaningful

- frequently calling friends/ family

- consistently make progress towards becoming your best self

There’s no right or wrong answers.

Reflect on your life and find what works for you.

You can even look back at just this past week and ask yourself… “On the days I felt the best what did I do? And on the days I felt the worst what did I do?”.

Then start transforming your life by aligning your daily schedule with the things that make you feel the best.

It’s a slow process of self reflection and refinement, but it’s the best way to cultivate a life you enjoy.

That’s all I got for today’s letter.

I know it was a short one - but I still haven’t packed and have to be out of my airbnb in an hour so I’m gonna get to that.

Now go enjoy today.

Cheers,

Hunter
